Below you will find 5 different opportunities for submitting anecdotes. Selected submissions will periodically appear on this site and might be published. You will have the option of having your name accompany your contribution or remaining anonymous. Your city, state, and country will be included.
SILLY SIGHTS and MOMENTS
Have you witnessed something really silly & comical lately around the house, downtown, at the supermarket, in the park, on the Interstate, on a sign, etc.? Have you done something inadvertently and really hilarious lately at home, at work, or at play?
You are invited to submit (via "Contribution" form, below):
- Anecdotes of YOUR goofs or those of others
- Silly things you have seen
• The accounts must be true; fact not fiction.
• They should be described in around 150 words or less.
LANGUAGE BLOOPERS
English, French, Spanish, German, etc.
- Have you recently seen an amusing faux pas in the use of a language?
- Are you a language teacher (of any language including ESL,) who has a great anecdote about a student’s innocent fractured phrase or slip up that resulted in a very comical utterance?
- In your travels, did you ever notice a linguistic blooper?
You may submit your blooper below. Selected bloopers may appear periodically on this site and may be published in a collection.
GREAT TRAVEL TALES
- Do you have a humorous, exciting, or heartwarming story that happened while you were traveling that you’d like to share?
- While traveling in another state or country, did you meet a very colorful person who was amazingly unique and unforgettable?
- Did you ever have a catastrophe while traveling that you can laugh about now?
- Did you have an extraordinary experience or adventure on a trip that was exhilarating?
- Did you ever inadvertently do something really crazy while on a trip?
